I’ve been using Panasonic hair dryers for more than a decade, so I’m super excited to share this review of the Panasonic Nanoe EH-NA98 Moisture Infusing Advanced Hair Dryer that’s just launched in Australia. I’ve been using it for the last 2 months and it’s the best hair dryer I’ve ever tried.

As you probably know, Panasonic is well known for their reliable appliances (my old Panasonic hairdryer has been going for over 15 years!). But I was mostly impressed by the hair dryer’s performance on my bleached and brittle hair. It actually feels much more hydrated and smooth than when I let it air dry, and far less crispy than with my previous hair dryer. I was also extremely impressed by how quickly it dried my hair in only 6 minutes.

The technology behind this is Nanoe, also found in Panasonic’s air conditioning systems. These are tiny, negatively charged nano-sized droplets of water – check out the video for more about how this helps your hair!

  1. Do you know how the EH-NA65 would compare? Even on Panasonic’s website I can’t seem to find information about the difference between how the Nanoe technology performs on a $99 hairdryer vs. a $370 hairdryer.

    Thanks for the review!

  3. Hello. I’m researching for a new blow-dryer and I cannot grasp one thing. Maybe You could help me.

In Your post about hair & coconut oil You’ve written, that “when hair gets wet, the cell membrane complex and the inner cuticle (endocuticle) soak up water and swell up, but the rigid outer layer doesn’t. This makes the scales stick up ” For this reason, we use coconut oil to reduce the swelling i.e. water absorption into the hair.

So why do we need a blow-dryer to deliver water particles into the hair if it causes swelling and damaged hair? Or is it about balance – enough of moisture without the swelling?

I would really appreciate the clarification. 🙂
