Happy Halloween! Predictably, this week’s Artsy Wednesday theme is Halloween. I didn’t want to do traditional witches and pumpkins – instead, I took a somewhat lazy route and used some oriental demon mask water decals to make a more unusual (but hopefully still spooky) monster mani. And I got a bit lazy I guess! Here it is:
And a close-up of my favourite design, the thumb:
These come from kkcenterhk (link here), and are super simple to use. I found these very easy to reposition, and they don’t rip easily so they’re good for the more anal nail artists. The base colour I used is Pretty Serious Forbidden Fruit, a glass flecky pale grey colour that looks like the silvery anodised aluminium on Apple products.
More Halloween nail art from talented ladies (who were probably less lazy):

That’s very cool! I have the same decal arrived few days back now I cannot wait to try them on. Forbidden Fruit is the best base choice!

They’re just decals – so easy to use! 🙂
Gosh, gorgeous! Don’t be too hard on yourself, we all get lazy sometimes and these still look absolutely amazing! Xx
Those look cool. Is it me or does that last picture remind you of the “okay” face meme?
So cool! Water decals aren’t cheating, they can be a challenge too!
Cool decals 🙂
These turned out great! I still need to try water decals! For being the lazy way out they sure intimidate me! So I would say not so lazy 🙂
They intimidated me too, but they’re honestly fool-proof 🙂
this is really cool! i just tried water decals for the first time!
I have never found decals as cool as that. Awesome.
These are so cool! Remind me a bit of Kiss from afar lol
