This Wednesday the theme is Candy/Sweets. I had a bunch of ideas, but I ended up back in my comfort zone – freehand colour blocking with cremes. Sorry if you’re sick of these! I’ll be more adventurous next time.

Now, I’ll be the first to admit that I hate liquorice. Hate it. But when I was a kid, these fluoro-bright neon cubes of liquorice would always tempt me, and I’d try to eat only the coloured bits, or just gulp the whole thing down. It always ended in sadness – aniseed-flavoured sadness. Why you gotta look so good, liquorice allsorts?

Colours used: Nicole by OPI City-Pretty Rose, Sally Hansen Xtreme Wear Sun Kissed, Rimmel Green Grass, ulta3 Lily White, Spring Blossom and Black Satin.

  1. So cute! I hate licorice too, but love the look of these. Showed them to my boyfriend, who is a massive licorice-fiend, and he said they made him hungry! Haha
