May Empties

I can’t believe it’s June already! This year has flown by. Here are my empties from May:

I have a lot of hair, so I go through a lot of shampoo and conditioner. I finished off Toni and Guy Nourish Conditioner for Damaged Hair, which I really liked, as well as Appelles Blackseed Shampoo and Tamanu Conditioner, which had lovely scents but weren’t quite cleansing or smoothing enough for my hair. I also finished off Kerastase Discipline Smooth-in-Motion Shampoo, which is now one of my favourite shampoos of all time.

My staples are Daiso Cotton Puff, which I cut in half and use for removing eye make-up and for toner, and Baby Solutions Baby Wipes which I use for pretty much everything.

I’ve been trying to do one mask a week, but I haven’t been super successful. I did manage to use up The Face Shop Mini Capsule Pack Wash-off Pack in Pomegranate (a bit overscented and itchy) and Lonvitalite C2 Collagen Firming and Moisturising Facial Mask (pretty nice!). I also used TheYeon Bad Pig Rich Collagen Liftense Hydrogel Eye Patch, which was one of the first eye masks I’ve ever used – it definitely worked, but I think I applied it too close to my eye and it got really irritating when I blinked.

I also finally used up Lush Popcorn Lip Scrub – I know that mixing sugar and oil would have the same effect, but the scent is so much fun. I’ve also been working through some Sephora Body Wash capsules, which makes me feel a bit wasteful (so much plastic!) but I also want to try all the scents. These all run a bit flowery, even when they’re not floral scents, which actually gives a nice twist to Lagoon, Mango, Green Tea and Blueberry, but Peony and Monoi were too heavily flowery for me. My favourite’s still Mango though!

  1. I buy those Daiso Cotton Puff too and their tissues. Cheap and does the job… that’s what I like. I’ve seen those Sephora Body Wash around but haven’t tried it, are they any good?
