Artsy Wednesday: Inspired by Disney (Star Wars nails)

Today’s Artsy Wednesday theme is Disney. I decided to do something a little different – Star Wars nails! As you might know, I’ve ready done a whole series of Disney princess nails with ranty essays attached (Jasmine, Snow White, Mulan, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Pocahontas, Belle and Ariel). Disney acquired Lucasfilm in 2012 and there’ll be three new films coming out.

From left to right, the designs are stormtrooper, Darth Vader, Boba Fett and R2D2. I was pretty happy with these – they were not easy to do and I had some really frustrating moments, but I think it looks good.

The fact that these are actually Disney nails makes me sad 🙁 But as Star Wars nails, they are awesome! Great job!

Vader was a pain, but I kind of just winged it with R2D2… glad the mistakes there aren’t too obvious! 🙂
